Carlos Alcaraz failed to beat Alexander Zverev as the went out of the ATP Tour Finals. The Spaniard suffered a shock loss in his first match against Casper Ruud in Turin, producing an underwhelming performance during Monday’s action.
Wednesday was a better day for Alcaraz as he overcame Andrey Rublev to place himself back on track. But in Zverev, the 21-year-old faced an opponent in top form, and the German continued his run of not dropping a set in the tournament so far.
